An error message keeps popping up on my screen. It states "Error" in the blue header. It then states "Could not find the Macromedia Flash" with an "OK" button right below it.

I have Windows XP, Home Edition, Service Pack 2.
I have tried rebooting. No effect.
I tried re-downloading Macromedia flash. No effect.
I ran anti-spyware (Norton, a-squared & superspyware) & virus check (Norton). No effect.

Any ideas ?? It does not seem to cause any issues. Just a minor annoyance. Thanks

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling Flash.

To uninstall use the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller here.

Then go here and reinstall.

Thank you. I have done what you suggested. I will come back in a day or so to let you know if it resolved the issue.
