A couple of weeks ago I had a virtumonde infection that I think we eliminated with Buckeye Sam'e help. (See post Virtumonde Infection Won't Go Away Easily -- http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...141704&hl=)

Shorty after it was removed I had a hard drive failure that I'm rebuilding from. I just received a warning from Norton 360 to restart my computer so it could, once again, complete removal of virtumonde. All I can figure is that a zip file I opened and viewed a video from had the pesty thing in it. I think I now have enough precautions in place to avoid a major infection  .

Can you please help me verify that virtumonde was successfully removed by Norton 360?

Thanks

Thank you for relocating this to the right forum. I'll patiently await insight.
