hey guys, am new here and found out about this site

im infected by a WORM_IRCBOT.YS virus. trendmicro detected the file but it says it can't clear the infection and hence deleted the file for me.

but the virus is recurrent.
what should i do?

If you have already posted this log at another forum or if you decide to seek help at another forum, please let us know. There is a shortage of helpers and taking the time of two volunteer helpers means that someone else may not be helped.

Please post your HijackThis log as a reply to this thread. Most people can be trusted but there are those who cannot be trusted. You may be in the trusted group but I prefer not to download the HijackThis logs for fear of those who cannot be trusted. Thank you.
