Hello everyone,

I have a problem that I been trying to solve for the past 3 hours with no results

I have a HP dc7800p with Windows XP pro

The problem that I'm having is that I can't boot to XP its giving me this error message:

2210 Parameters Frame Error
ME BIOS Extension Module..Execution has halted

Update Bios or Management Engine Firmware If problem persist.

2210 End of Post HECI Failure system halted power cycle the system to reboot.

So I went to HP and found that there is a Driver for the HECI Error, but since I can't open Windows XP to installed, I'm kind of stuck on this one....

Any Ideas guys????

Thank you!!!

Hi hamLuis,

I'm afraid not!! I did download the Driver from that site ...but I can't installed it since I can not reboot the pc.
I try to reboot the pc from USB, from CD and it keeps bringing the same screen with those two errors!!!

Don't know what to do!!!

If you registered the computer when you bought it and can provide proof(service tag number), you can contact HP and get a set of recovery disks for a nominal fee

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
