Lexmark Printer + Xp + Visual C++ Runtime Lib Error

On this customers pc that I am working it's giving me an error with the lexmark printer the full error is
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!
Program C:\windows\system32\xdlcfg.exe
This operation has requested runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.

I tried reinstalling the software but it still brings up the error, any suggestions?

Hello DoctaJoyce and :thumbsup: to Bleeping Computer.

I did an internet search for this xdlcfg.exe file and nothing came up. Whenever this happens I automatically suspect malware.

Is the spelling correct for "xdlcfg.exe"?
