Anyone have any tips on getting past the flying school in GTA San Andreas?

I've used a cheat that slows the gameplay, which helps, but not enough.

Also, has anyone ever completed this game without cheats?

My little bro did. (Dont ask me how). I usually get bored 1/2 hr in and cut the infinate ammo and weapons cash on and go on a killing spree. Lets face it thats what the game was designed for, why not do it.

A lot of people finished without cheating. I did. The flight school was definitely a pain but doable. Just memorize the ring pattern and practice a lot

It's damn hard!

I'm not even that far... T_T Oh well....

I've been working on it for the last couple weeks but progress is slow.

A good controller and a load of practice time really does help.

Alan.

I find that a joystick is a lot easier to use than mouse and keyboard for flying. Also, practice in different vehicles, you will find that some can do more than others.

Alan.
