HI:
I am running Windows 2000 Pro SP4 with IE 6 SP1. Access is denied to Tools Internet Options. Also, there is no Internet Options icon in Control Panel. I am the only one using the computer and am the Administrator. I have run Spybot, CW Shredder, Counter Spy, AdAware and MS AntiSpyware - all in Safe mode. There seems to be no spyware.
Here is the Hijack This log - also run in Safe Mode. Can anyone help?

I have run Spybot, CW Shredder, Counter Spy, AdAware and MS AntiSpyware - all in Safe mode.

I don't think you should be running both Counter Spy and MS Antispyware. Counter Spy uses the Giant engine, and Giant is the provider of MS Antispyware. Here is a link to the Giant page, where the first two paragraphs explain uninstalling the Giant product before installing the MS product.

Hi:
Thanks for the response. Actually I was running MS AntiSpyware before I installed Counter Spy, and I only installed it last week. The problem showed up about 2 months ago before I had either on the machine. Should I still uninstall one or both?
