Hello Lee, welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Did you Read the information (where to post your HJT log is further down)

HERE:Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/

Prior to posting a HJT log, we ask that you please read and
follow all instructions in the pinned topic titled
Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log.
Following the steps in this Guide will allow the HJT Team
to quickly help you with specific fixes for what may
remain on your system.

Please complete all the steps in the Guide.
If you have performed some of them already, then
just continue with the next. If you can't perform a step,
then skip it and continue with the next. The last step will
include downloading and using the most current version of
HijackThis if the first line of your log does not appear as follows:

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/22/virus-trojan-spyware-and-malware-removal-logs/

Please DO NOT post your log to this topic, or post a log in the wrong forum.

Once that is done, a Member of the HJT Team will analyze your log and assist you with step by step instructions to clean your computer or otherwise advise what needs to be done.

Please be patient while you wait for a reply, the malware removal team is very busy and they will get to your log as soon as possible.

to maybe keep you out of the very busy HJT section may I suggest you try running the superantispyware and asquared programs from this link http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic3616.html under the section of spyware removal

to see if they can flush it for you or identify which tools you DO need to get rid of it that can be offered away from the HJT section?

if you post their reports HERE then the expers can examine them and see if help CAN be offered out here or if you need TO be HJT's

We really don't need any type of spyware logs posted in the Operating systems forum. You would be better served doing it HERE which is where I'm moving this thread to

Hello Lee77,

I see that you have an HJT log posted here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/144028/my-hjt-log-virtumonde/ Please note that I merged your latest log topic with the previously posted one and clarified the topic title. Please DO NOT post more HJT topics on this issue as this confuses matters and may delay the assistance you receive. Because you have this log posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

If after 5 days you still have received no response, then post a link to your HJT log in the thread titled "Haven't Had A Reply In Five Days?".

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic. Good luck with your log.

Orange Blossom
Help us help you. If HelpBot replies, you MUST follow step 1 in its reply so we know you need help.
