Hello all,

I recently got this Toshiba laptop and had someone reload windows XP on it. Now I dont have the CD and I want to reload it again. Do I have to get ahold of Toshiba to get a new OS cd because it has unique features that it needs. Because when I look through my computer I see alot of Toshiba stuff.

I would rather be a little overkill with my computer. Than to have my computer be killed.

You will have to contact Customer Service http://www.csd.toshiba.com/
Give them the model number and the service tag or serial number and they will send you recovery CD's for a nominal fee (around 20 bucks).

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits

Do you have the product code, the proof of authenticity for the operating system that was installed?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
