Got a Compaq runnin ME, all updates from Microsoft installed except 500 languages.
IE6, on cable.
When I try to print an email I get error lexplore.exe box, click this off and a Mocrosoft error box comes up, click this off and off line I go...!
Search sez lexplore is a virus program, worm, etc. Sposed to use up memory, etc.
These people say remove it, among other things.
Let me know what whomever knows about this problem and how to fix it....please.
Thanks

that should be an old infection and McAfee's stinger should handle it

it's been renamed

not that I wish to sidetrack from the thread but when I run stinger from that download I am told it is 'out of date'?

it is old and probably abandoned but it does work on ME

SAS would be my choice on a newer infection

if YOU run stinger kindly let me know if the program itself displays a message telling YOU it is out of date and to visit the stinger site for a new download ...as mine does.....!!!!!
