I am trying to post a HJT Log using DSS, It gets to the part about log events and crashes and gives this error. I've tried restarting as well

If you want to post a log in the HJT section...why not just go there, read their instructions...and proceed?

This link should be a start: Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/

Hold tight Scooby. I will ask how you should proceed.

I see you have your issue worked out and now have an active HJT log. This topic is now closed.
