Hey,
When i try to boot up my comp ive been addressed with a few problems, first time computer had an error message that read something along the lines of WinMM.dll is not loaded or loading something to do with the WinMM.dll then i tried later to boot up again and was met with a all blue screen that said something about crash dump or something like that. so instead i just boot up with safe mode w/ networking, which works fine but when i tried system restore first time computer froze, second time it wouldn't even let me look at the system recovery application, third time comp finally let me get there and i was overjoyed but it said that there werent any restore points??!!! I dunno so then i tried to go to back up and restore and the computer still wont let me open that. So i tried to boot up with last know good config but when attempted my computer screen goes black, and just sits there. but this might help things downloaded on comp were "Full Strength" internet booster utorrent Veoh Tv, and DFX.... ITS AS IF NOTHING IS WORKING...AND YOU GUYS ARE MY LAST HOPE!!! And plus i really dont wanna have to tell my mom my computer is broken cuz all shell say is i shouldnt be watchin porn and its what i deserve blah blah blah. Dont think it was the porn anyway?? wasnt much on here anyway hahahahaha..
But seriously somebody plz help im in dire need here....
one more plz  plzzzzzzzzzz help

lets start with what is your antivirus program , when last fully updated and run on a full system scan; also which other protection programs are on board; when were those last fully updated and run on full deep scans?

BUT do not forget ; the forum is NOT for arbitrating between you and your parents; if you HAVE been using the computer 'unwisely 'you may need TO, and most probably ought TO 'own up' ;I guess you are 'trusted to use the computer appropriately'? ? one might suggest you have abused that trust ; you seem to be using P2P stuff? this carries its own inherant risks as you may now be discovering and if porn HAS been 'on the menue' you may well find yourself in deep water wiith both computer viruses AND your parents

ummm okkk....but well the protection on computer is anti-vira, avg, mcaffee, and spyware doctor. Although the latter two i havent used much so the havent been scanned but anti-vira i believe is up to date as is avg. though the problem is when I try to scan the computer in safe mode the scan will maybe reach 30% then the computer will freeze. Matter of fact the computer freezes in safe mode, i'd guesstimate after 45- hour after the boot. And also i believe im not positive but I conducted a full system scan maybe 4 days before the problems occurred.
Thanks

hey also something else i tried system repair from the boot menu and it couldnt repair and displayed the message:

Root cause found
unspecified changes to system configuration might have caused the problem.
Repair action: System files integrity check and repair
Result: Failed Error code=0x45d

also system restore says no restore points have been created on your computers system disk.

Hopefully this helps some. Thanks for your assistance

for starters; looks as though you have THREE antivirus programs on there; you should have only ONE installed antivirus program

anti-vira
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q...earch&meta=

appears to be a crack ( illegal) program

from where did you download it and also avg (presumably antivirus )

and Macaffee?

Oh ,and I presume of course you are NOT and have not been doing any MSN messaging or emailing with this computer ??

also you do need to remove ANY P2P programs you have on there as needless to say, they too are probably infected
