Recovery Disk

hi i was just wondering if anyone can help me, about 2 weeks ago my computer started crashing and i could not do anything so i backed all my data and formatted my computer, then i had installed windows xp black on. However i just found my ASUS Recovery CD and it installs xp on the computer but the problem is i can't install it, please can anyone help me install this recovery disk as this is the proper CD to sort out my problems. There are 2 cds and there are 4 main options which are.

and then: recover to 1st partition
and: recover to entire HD
and: recover to entire HD with 2 partitions

Please can anyone help.

I'm not sure what you issue is. You write that you have reformatted the hdd and reinstalled the XP on it, is this installation working?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
