Hi all, about a week ago I started getting popups appearing every so often on my computer. I've run most of the progs that I know about (see list below) and none of them are finding anything. Need somebody to help me out on this one!

I have run the latest definitions of;

Ad-Aware
AVG
Avast
CClean
Spybot SD
Vundofix
The online TrendMicro system and the Kaspersky (spelling??) online system.
CWShredder
VirtuMundoBeGone

None of the above are finding any problems at all but I'm STILL getting these popups and 'fantastic offers to get rid of your spyware' popups. I've included my hijackthis log below. I cross referenced it with a couple of sites and have found a couple of 'O2's that relate to the Conhook/Chisyne/Vundo problem and I've fixed them, but still having a problem. Any ideas???

Hi and welcome to Bleeping Computer! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :thumbsup:

Please download ComboFix and save it to your desktop.

Prior to running Combofix.exe you should disable your antivirus program and disconnect from the internet.

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's done running it will produce a log for you. Please post that log in your next reply.

Important Note - Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

hi sam thanks for the fast reply. think this may actually be sorted now, "O2 - BHO: (no name) - {608820BC-8D76-453E-8082-617AA1B86B42} - (no file)" seemed to be the problem, I was advised to fix that file and since then I've had no problems at all :D.

That alone wouldn't have resulted in popups for you, but if you've got it sorted out I'll go ahead and close this thread.
