I keep getting blue screen error messages, usually when playing The Sims 2. The message is below. Anyone know what it means?

stop: 0x0000008E(0xC0000005,0xBFA72797,0F67896980x00000000)

nv4_disp.dll - address BFA72797 base at BF9D3000,datestamp 00000000

I actually missed a bit at the beginning. On the second time it happened I got roughly the same message but noted what it said at the start. It was

'The problem seems to be caused by the following faulty file.

nv4_disp.dll
PAGE FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.

I've also had messages mentioning 'BAD POOLS' (??)
