I have been asked to set up about 8 email addresses for a family who isn't overly interested in paying for a domain or setting up a bunch of hotmails.

Is there anything out there in the world of free lame web based email where i could set up 8 whoever@blahblahs.tk

If it doesn't make sense don't blame me! blame my weak pot of coffee this morning.

Gmail.com <--Recommended Highly

I believe .tk will let you forward your e-mails to a Gmail account. Then again I am not sure what you were asking.

gmail.com?

One can invite others individually or set a multi-use address.

I would set up each member with a separate address.

yes they want each member set up individually. the .tk thing was just an example i was using. More or less i was wondering if there was such a place to set up multiple @blahblahs.whtevr. More specific would like to have their last name come after the "@" not fussy what comes after the last name.

If i say free domain name type thing is that anymore clear?

Sorry, no free sites I'm aware of at this time.

I would avoid the Group types anyway for security reasons.

I will note after checking on the 'freename.org' site that it's listed by McAfee's SiteAdvisor in the Yellow zone. Which means one will get popups, spammed and who knows what else.

I have multiple Hot Mail and Gmail accounts.

(The nice thing about the Gmails is one can dump them easily and send yourself a fresh account as needed.)

That's probably how they offer it as a free service. But if you are only
using the domain for email and never set up a web page then no worries.

Also has anyone else done this via AOL. And if so did you notice alot of spam text to your phone?
