Visual Studio 6.0 Installation Error

Im running on windows xp home edition, service pack 2. Im trying to install VS 6.0 and I get this.

Please help, I have tried searching google and found no answers. There were deffinatley people with the same problem though. The error message pops up right when I click next.

Try installing in safe mode.

Copy the entire cd to your hard drive and then install from the hard drive itself and see if that helps. If that does not work, then shutdown all unneeded programs and tryu again
