Hi I have been using Combo fix to get rid of unwanted problems, but I noticed that after using Combofix the Autorun dosen't work on the optical drives. Anybody know how to fix this problem?

Combofix is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

Thank you Monty007, this utility seems to work well. ComboFix had been a great tool for me, but I had to stop using it because of the Autoplay problem. Garmanma, thank you for the warning reguarding ComboFix. I have read the instructions on how to use it and the only problem I had with it was it disabled autoplay.

Thank you Monty007, I will give this utility a try the next time I use Combo Fix.

as Garmanma had intimated , Conbofix is a specialist tool NOT intended for private use

one hopes you will only use the tool again IF instructed to do so by a Trained malware expert?

you may be very fortunate that your computer still runs; the next time you run the fix unsupervised may be the time that so doing renders the computer forever useless

what IS wrong with the computer that you seem to need to run these tools ? can you describe the problems so specfic clean up advise can be given to you?
