My computer is infected by Antivirus gold. Today I ran “Smitfraudfix.exe” in the safe mode. I am sure I made a mistake, when it asks, Do you want to clean the registry? I typed in Y and hit enter. I mistakenly hit enter again and it skipped the red screen and reboot section. It put the notepad screen containing all of the removed files up.

I want to run Smitfraudfix.exe again and maybe get it right. My question, do I have to uninstall Smitfraud.exe first and all its files and folders or can I just run it again in the safe mode.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
