Write down the entire contents of the message. Are you current on all of the Windows Updates?

Well, I've never seen that message before because I keep current on all my Windows Updates. You're getting that message because, for some reason they are not installing. Do you have Windows Auto-Update turn on? How is it configured?

The first thing I would do is to go to the Windows Update sight and let it scan to make sure you're up to date. Then have a look at this article:
http://technet.microsoft.com/
Also go through this shut down troubleshooting guide
