There are quite a few that are recommended for PDA's and Phones that allow you to listen to music until you get a call. The headphones have built in microphones for making and receiving calls. The Motorola HT820 BT is one model I am not sure however if you can use the microphone and the head phones at the same time on a computer.

I would also like some recommendations for a wireless headset with mic. I do have a related question: are you able to use bluetooth headsets in a different room or part of a house than where the transmitter is?

Bluetooth is short range, only about 30 feet.
