I reloaded win 98 and now the computer will only start at the C: prompt. It will only blink the win 98 screen then the C: comes up. What do I need to do?

Hi Tracy and welcome to BC

I reloaded win 98 and now the computer will only start at the C: prompt

Are you saying that you can boot to windows or that it stalls at C:\>. If its stalling there what happens if you type in WIN at that point?

Did you format before you reinstalled?
