I try to open a program for instance Aol instant messenger..or Aol. soon as i do this. ..a screen pops up says " open with" at the top. and it says "choose the program you want to use to open this file" then it says the file i am tryin t o open Aim6.exe. then under that it gives a list of programs to try and open it with..like microsoft word...paint..windows media player, internet explorer etc etc. it says this for everything i try to run..even system restore..but i can still open folders..and internet explorer. anyone have any ideas?..please help. thanks
