I have acrobat reader 6.0 and open normally most of the documents but in this case it opens but the page is empty. Could you tell what is my error or what it causes it?

Try updating to the latest version Adobe 8.1.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

when did you install this program ; how long ago ?
you MAY need to uninstall you current version of acrobat reader and start again
assuming you are running Windows 98?or 98se? you will need an older version of acrobat than the 8.0 version
go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html and select your windows version

however, try this first ; open acrobat reader from your desktop shortcut/help menue/updates

ARE any showing as available ?I had to update to, I beleive version 6.4

if there are you will need to install one at a time , and , if memory serves, I rebooted my 98se after each 'update'

as to Foxit, I tried it and abandoned it as it constantly crashed my 98se computer

Are you certain that the file you are trying to open actually has content? Can you open other .pdf files currently?

Thanks to all I found the trick I clicked the right mouse and then I save the document in one file and just then I could open the document with acrobat or foxit reader. AS I have win98se I am unable to use acrobat reader 8 because when I tried to install what I got is only updates.
Again thanks for your response

as you are on win 98se you will find as I did that the acrobat for you is 6.0 then you update it to I think 6.4 within the update section of the program

you will NOT be able to try 8.o as the link FROM the acrobat site does not give it as avaibable for us

I also found Foxit of no use to /for me and kept crashing my computer
