Since a couple of weeks I have to repeat the procedure Start>Shutdown>Shutdown to shutdown the computer.
Normal is: Shutdown>Shutdown to shutdown the computer.
What is the matter>

 to Bleeping Computer :flowers:

Do you mean that when you press shut down, you need to press it again to turn it off? What happens if you just press the Off button on the computer (Is your PC configured so that when you press the off button it goes into Shut Down?

I noticed no one has jumped in to help you with this issue, so I thought I would.

What does "Start>Shutdown>Shutdown " mean? If you are using XP, it is probably

Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off

Am I correct, or is there something here that I don't understand?

Currently home chillin' with the fam and my two dogs!
