I would rather be a little overkill with my computer. Than to have my computer be killed.

I find programs like CCleaner (http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000-2144_4-10315544.html?tag=lst-1) very helpful in improving speed.

A fresh install of windows sometimes helps if you havent done it in a couple years. Might be able to add some RAM but most laptops have limited upgradibility.

hello

yes you should be able to upgrade to at least 1 if not 2 gigs of ram, other than that just the basics ... defrag, ccleaner, maybe even grab a copy of WinASO registry cleaner and give it a scan. Go through the programs that are starting up with windows and remove the ones you do not need.

BC does not recommend the use of registry cleaners. If one insists on using them please remember to back up the registry first

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
