Is it possible to change the way a topic shows,

eg. instead of having the post going down with the latest one at the bottom, is it possible to reverse this so they list in reverse order, latest post at top of page?

Thanks

To be honest I'm not sure.

I'll have a look around Control Panel one more time but I can't find it..

It would be a bad idea, anyways.

yeh ive looked around control panel and on the threads themselves but i cant see nowt, its just so its more user friendly so i dont have to scroll down a full page just to see a quick update on a post.

Thanks for looking tho Zombiee!

if anyone does find it or know a way please post

Steve

Switching to outline by clicking on the "options" tab at the top right of the first post in a thread may prove useful, especially if the thread is long.

I am not sure that reversing the order of the post, though, is a good idea. For the most part, the forums consists of problem>solution processes. I would think that Members wanting to help others would prefer to see the problem first (to determine if they could help) and not have to scroll down through a thread to find it. Perhaps the same could be said for those who are looking for similar problems and, since Topic Titles and descriptions are often imprecise, would prefer to view the problem first to see if it resembles their own before reading through the thread.
I don't see how the functionality and current ease of the process would be improved by reversing the "natural" order, but then I could be completely wrong and just a creature of habit.
Cheers,
John

Switching to outline shows the original post and the places the other into a tree which is handy in a way.

I was aiming it at my view rather than changing the layout for the forum itself and the way everyone views a thread, like my own personalised view.

Ahhh... all is clear now.

My apologies for the confusion.

I dont think its possible to do at this time but maybe its something the mod's can look into for the future ??

There is kind of a way.. when you click "add reply" it will show the last 10 posts the newest being first. I think the mods have may already considered this in the past but I think it would create alot of confustion
