/3GB switch and video drivers

I installed a third ram stick (1gig)
I heard that my XP pro will take more than it needs and I followed a suggestion to setup the Boot.ini with a /3GB switch and saved. So far so good.
when I reboot, I notice the computer is not recognizing the drivers for my 8800GTS.(169.21v) I go back and take the /3GB off and reboot and the drivers come back. Is there anything I can do to have the /3GB switch and drivers work?

As stated HERE the switch can be real picky about hardware and drivers. Maybe the forums at Nvidia's support site might be helpful.
