Been working on a computer, was mega infected with all sorts of lovelies. Ran AVG, AVG Antispyware, Adaware 2007, Avira Antivir, and Kaspersky internet security on it. Seems clean now, however, there are 2 programs in add/remove that will not uninstall. Pretty sure they are malware or something of the sort, as a lot of the infected compy's I work on have these items in add/remove. The name of the programs are "Internet Service" and "Secure Browsing". When you hit change/remove, it pops up a box saying "You should reboot prior to uninstalling this software. Reboot now?" with an OK or cancel button. Hitting cancel takes you back to add/remove, OK reboots. Even after reboot, hitting change/remove pops up the same box. Tried Google, but those two phrases are common enough that I can't find anything. My question is, has anyone else seen these, and does anyone know if I should even worry about them? Posting a HJT log is no problem if needed.
