When I am downloading, it downloads for a short period of time, and then it cannot go further and hang. I noticed it stops when the network also stops for a second or so, and then somehow the download cannot be restarted and it just stays there waiting. Is this a virus problem or a setting problem?

Any help will be appreciated.

Danny

Doesn't sound like a virus.

You said that the network stops. If the network stops it kills the download connection and downloads do not resume unless you have a download manager. I believe firefox lets you resume downloads, might want to give that a try.

But this happens when Adaware is downloading its definition files. It is done in the background.

It just sits there and I cannot run Adaware because it says that it is busy doenloading the file. And it cannot downloadt the new definition file and keep saying that it cannot contact the server.

I did not have this problems before in downloading files.

Any ideas?

Danny
