Spywatch Hijacked One Sick Puppy

hi i am trying to help a friend out their computer (which i will be on later today) has spywatcher porn pop ups it took me three hours yesterday to get to blp computers where i tryed to down load spybot and destroy it wont run but looks like tea timer installed superantispy avg all wont open i used the links here because i felt it was my best chance at the most security tools i did run smithfraud fix and got A2 squared to run it wont open in safe mode it found 160 something trojins virses an so on i finally got to windows update there where 9 of which 8 installed defender wont run either i got clean up ran that and ran aprils mal removel tool it had found 5 infections but i had to leave before it finished so thats mostly it after so many hours i know i left out some info oh i downloaded hijackthis to desktop it wont open either its a windows xp sp2 as far as i know only anti virus was a out dated mcafee adaware was on it if its real it will run and find stuff but it wont check for updates and setting wont open either but hey what are freinds for i need help when i get over there can i log on there under my name or do they need a account just asking thank you guys very much oh it was also a warning saying you are still infected box
