Hi All,

I am infected with a virus called Bloodhound.Packed.Jmp. It does not allow me to see any hidden file. After I check the box See All Hidden File, it will change it back to Hide Hidden Files option automatically. That is the only symtom I found. My Norton Antivirus notified me that the virus is found and deleted, but later it will find again.

I already recovered my windows (C:) with the Asus recovery files few times, but the virus is still there. I downloaded combofix and it did cleaned out the virus, but I didn't know that my USB drives got infected by the same virus too, so after i pluged in the usb drive, Norton Antivirus will notisfy me about the virus is found again. I ran combofix few times and it cleaned out the virus from my computer and usb drives, but somehow i got the virus back again. And Norton also found out that I had another virus called Trojan Win32....some name i forgot. and i used Norton to remove them already.

Now, I can't see the hidden files. AND, combofix DOES NOT WORK anymore. After I ran combofix, it will show the blue screen for 1 sec, then disappear. I really don't know what to do. Both of my laptop, desktop and usb drives got infected. Can someone help me to get rid of this virus completely? Thanks,

Boyhsu~

I just used Adware 2007 to scan, and it found Win32.Worm.Autorun and Win32.TrojanPWS.OnlineGames. So Worm and Monitor tool. Hope it helps.

you actually have an active log in http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...mp;#entry783620

and this thread in this section with a combofix log in it that has been locked by the moderating team
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/138798/infected-and-removed-bloodhoundpackedjmp-virus/

you do need to continue on the HJT thread so as not to confuse instructions; a Mod ought to lock this thread too
