i want to know how to handle the power moniter, that is the OS detects wther the source is from UPS ar Through. Just i want to handle this step to check the source.

You muyst connect a serial cable from your ups to your a serial port on your computer. Make sure the UPS service is started and then you can manage it from the power control panel
