Hello there, I'm an interested individual in learning more about computers & OS. Mostly I would like to learn how to tweak computers so that they run faster & more efficiently. This is more for personal knowledge as my work does not require me to work with computers all that much (I am a cook). However I have dreams of learning to use computers with much greater ease.
So if you see a post by me, you can be sure that you are not wasting any time. This guy really wants to know & understand how computers operate (please keep the nerd talk to a minimum though - or at least explain what the words mean... Thank you very much for your time!!!

Hello jdjones, Welcome to Bleeping Computer

Spending some time here at BC reading and gathering knowledge, or just asking questions even if you think them to be elementary, will soon give you more confidence and make computing ALMOST fun!

Please take a moment and visit the New User Orientation section, to get familiarized with how the board works.

There is also an extensive Tutorials section, that offers a wide range of information and solutions.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
