Ok, this is new, went to install different modem to compare to current one and get this message that it has to check to run chkdisk to check for consistency., then it says its verifying folders, tell me a file wer41199.dir00 is cross linked on allocation unit 11465, and that it will be resolved by copying. Ok...so what does this all mean??

I know I have had issues in trying to get adaware2007 to load because it claims its not a valid win32 application....

What does it mean? Well, it could be malware, it could be a corruption of Windows or the NTFS file system, or it could be a problem with your hard drive. Let the system fix it - if it recurs, then there's likely a problem that needs to be addressed with additional troubleshooting.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
