Download these programs Superantispyware from www.superantispyware.com and nati-malware program from www.malwarebytes.com from a clean PC , transfer these files later onto a Usb or flash drive and then onto your pc, run a full system scan with both, and when your start menu disappears , is your desktop still active , as in, can you still click on icons and run programs from the desktop or does the entire EXPLORER.EXE thing crash?? If that keeps happening, run it manually by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and in New Task type in EXPLORER.EXE and run these programs, hope this helps.

Please print out and follow the instructions for using SDFix in BC's self-help tutorial "How to use SDFix".
-- When using this tool, you must use the Administrator's account or an account with "Administrative rights"
When done, the SDFix report log will open in notepad and automatically be saved in the SDFix folder as Report.txt. Please copy and paste the contents of Report.txt in your next reply.

As dmndmn suggests, you can download SDFix and other cleaning tools from another computer, save to a usb drive and transfer to your computer.
