Is it possible to uninstall my .Net Frameworks,and if so what harm can I do to my OS?
Also what exactly do they do? Thanks.

Yes, you can uninstall them in Control Panel...Add/Remove Programs.
I don't think that that'll fix the problem tho'. I don't know a bunch about Windows Update, but I usually recommend this free program for starters: http://wiki.djlizard.net/Dial-a-fix#Standard_version

Run the Windows Update and Windows Installer fixes and reboot. If this doesn't fix it, then run the "Flush Software Distribution", then run the Windows Update and Windows Installer fixes again - then reboot to see if that fixes it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
