I have an "Acer" laptop, found a startup utility (it's auto on @ startup,currently)"dumprep 0 -k" (Command "%systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k)
found ref's to "dumprep 0 -u", but not this one specifically...
Any ideas?--looks like I've a bug somewhere, but can't turn it up with the standard recommended engines/services
Many thanks

I've found this, on occasion, in systems at work. I suspect it's either that the memory dump wasn't finished, so the entry didn't finish running - or that it's a glitch and the memory dump was finished, but didn't remove the startup.

I usually leave it alone, but don't think that deleting it would hurt anything.
