Your best bet is to look on the internet, however, watch out as I have visited a few sites in search of Avatars and found myself flooded with pop-ups which I think was the reason why my PC had a trojan.

An avatar is just an image that you've uploaded to the forums for use as an avatar. Find the picture that you want and then use your user Control Panel here at BC to upload it.'

Check the Rules at the top of the page for limitations.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

There are size limitations regarding avatars, especially with animated ones. tg1911 has the parametrs almost memorized I think. I'm not positive what they are. One other thing to be cognizant of regarding avatars is copyright infringement.

Best of luck to you in your search for the avatar that best displays who you are on the forums.

BC's forum software will reduce anything larger than the allowed 83 pixel x 83 pixels in size. This causes the loss of animation.
An Avatars file size is also imited to 200 KB.

If you need to resize your animated Avatar, have a look at the following Mini Guide: Resizing An Animated Gif.
