Burning Dvds

I am using windows dvd maker. (running on vista home premium)

can anyone tell me what type of dvds i will need to burn a dvd playable in a dvd player?

I use convertX to DVD and never had a problem

But what sort of DVD?

for example, DVD-RW?

With Convert X to DVD it dont make any diff at all as I burn on DVD- DVD+ DVD-RW DVD+RW
Dop not use windows dvd maker? It's not worth it. I'm also running on vista home premium.

You should also get a copy of DVDFab V4 as this will rip out the copyrighted code, and then you can burn back to blank DVD.

I also use convert x to dvd, best one out! It doesnt matter what can of dvd's u get, I just get DVD-R, they are the cheapest and i never had a problem. Good Luck.
