Printer Sharing

i would like to share a printer on my network. i want to be able to print from my laptop, via wifi, to a printer that is hooked up to a desktop on my network. how should i do this? printer sharing is on, but i cant find the printer when i search for it on my laptop.

Can you find the computer to which the printer is attached?

You will also have to configure your firewalls to do this. there are some nice tutorials here
