I've been having trouble with slow performance and thought it was due to my new Norton Identity Safe installation. When I look at the task manager, however, XWCTray.exe (for my printer) jumps from 00 to 56 every five seconds or so. CPU usage history goes to 100% every few seconds and computer will lock every hour or so depending on what I'm doing. Help?

First thing I would try is to reinstall the printer software.
