Hey there bleepers. Heard alot of good things about this site so thought id pop on and have a look around. I currently work for a small to medium family building supply business. I was orignally hired to stock the shelves and get dirty but when the Network Admin left for greener pastures, the boss noticed i had an mp3 player and assumed i knew everything i should know about a computer so slid me into his job. (keeping me at my shelf stocking wages naturally for the first little while!!!)

It wasn't fun but i grew to enjoy it. That and along with optimizing my laptop to record and mix my own music has kinda led me to do alot of my own learning about these ridiculous contraptions to get through the day!

I have done some pretty radical stuff that i was told i couldn't do... like having a 1000+ ft strait run of Cat5 run outside in the middle of a sub zero snowstorm intertwined between piles of lumber and snowbanks, going from a store to a warehouse!!!

Yes, like the mailman, it delivered the information clear as day and without data loss. Our communication people were boggled that this worked...(for over a month until we got our fiber lines fixed.)

Anyways enough of that looking forward to all of your help and to help others when i can.
