ive had a few problems with my screen recently, so we tried re-instaling windows XP and tried to do a system restore , and somehow managed to install it again some where else on my hard drive (as it gave us 3 options on where to put it). we have now fixed the screen, and would like to go back to the old operating systems with all our files on it. how do we do this? i know the old files are still on it because i can see some of my old files under explore users. and also there is only 9gb free on my hardrive, so i know it has not been deleted. but how do i get onto my old operating system?
HELP ME!!!!!!

If you enable the viewing of hidden files in Windows Explorer...Tools...Folder Options...View tab, you'll be able to see the boot.ini file in the root (C:\) of your boot drive.

Open it by right clicking on it and selecting "Open", then copy and paste the contents to your next post and we'll see what we can do.
