Right after I turn on my computer (Dell 4700 w/ XP), if I don't quickly start using it, it turns itself off (goes into hibernation). I have programmed the power settings to go to hibernation after 4 hours, not 2 minutes. Do you think I have an illiterate computer, or is there something else wrong?

It could be hard drives or the monitor turning off. Make sure they have long delays as well. Personally I would turn off hibernation as it is known to be buggy.
