Hello reggieboy,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, the HJT Team has been swamped with logs lately.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

The initial problem of still not being able to connect to live chat (Java based, I think) still exists as per my ifrst post http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/136249/poor-internet-connection-or-infection/. I have gone to the Java and Adobe websites and both are up to date versions on my PC and the PC is running fine otherwise.

The other problem with the PC is that it often fails to load XML on myspace. This then prevents any further internet connection and I have to switch off the modem. I am not sure if there is has any relation to the chat connection issue or I just have a poor internet connection???

To be completely honest with you here, this type of issue is not something I have a large databse of knowledge about. I try to stick only to the malware side issues of the PC, you might perhaps consider making a new topic in the Web Browsing/Email and Other Internet Applications forum. Sorry I couldn't of been more help to you here.
