I came to work and logged onto my computer to find the "Warning You're In Danger of Spyware" background. The computer was running extremely sluggish and there were many pop ups. I'm afraid I got eager to solve the problem and followed the instructions from another post on this website dealing with a similar issue.
I used SDFix and Combofix. The problem seemed to be gone but when I tried to use my Task Manager, the funtion is grayed out and unaccessible. I also noticed when the computer starts up I see a flash of a command prompt screen that disappears quickly.
I'm currently running Windows XP Professional with Symantec Client Security. As I am typing this I just received a notification from Client Secuirty of Trojan.Vundo A0000037.dll Trojan Horse A0000092.exe
Hi and welcome to BC. It seems that your security system has found some viruses. I recommened you download SuperAntiSpyware from this link:SuperAntiSpyware It should be able to delete those trojan viruses. I also think that the viruses are causing you taskmanagement unaccessible. If it still doesn't work please reply in your next message
