Problem / Error In Using Ms Powerpoint 2007

Is this a virus? I cant open and create powerpoint presentation, every time I type a text the letters just overlap without spacing between them

I've tried reinstalling ms office but still the same problem, word and exel are working fine.

Hello CASTIGLIANO,

In your screen snapshot, I noticed that the Font Name box is empty/blank, but the Font Size box is not empty/blank. This may be caused by not having a default printer (or the proper default printer) installed on your system (along with the proper driver for that default printer).

Even though you mention that Word and Excel work fine, you might just try the Print command in PowerPoint 2007 to see what it is using/seeing as the default printer.

You might also try clicking the Office Orb in the upper-left corner, click the PowerPoint Options button, click Resources, then click the Diagnose button ("run Microsoft Office Diagnostics").

Thank you very much! It work fine now and solves the problem, my default printer is a network printer that is offline.
