I have a reoccuring problem that only started happening when I was infected with a massive amount of Trojans/Viruses that you guys helped me get rid of! Unfortunately I'm still having a few problems. I've recently run scans on Avast!, SpyBot S&D, Ad-Aware, and Windows Defender but haven't found any viruses.

1) Display settings change automatically

For a few days my screen works fine, and then all of a sudden the entire settings automatically switches to bigger & fuzzier text, icons, and a stretched screen. 1024x 768 resolution.

I don't understand how this happens. I've been able to change it back on my own, but this time I'm unable to do it. And I'm fairly certain when I do change it back, it'll keep happening- as this is about the 5th time now.

How do I permanently keep this from happening? Is this a virus that the above programs couldn't fix, or something else?

Thank for your advice!

I'm not sure about this but i don't think it's a virus. I had this promblem a couple of weeks ago as well. My siuation was slightly different from yours. Everything went to super small size I could hardly reconginze what everything said. The internet and my desktop icons were very small. However after a while it restored back to it's orignal size. Wait a few days and see if it's back to normal, if not then ask someone else.
