I have recently been receiving some strange e-mails from two seperate email addresses. I suspect that these mails are coming from one person who is using two different email addresses. Is there any way I can check up on this without this person being aware of it?

Thanks

Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'strange' emails ?

for example, are they offensive in nature, or an unexpected content ?

do you receive them in Outlook express?

Hi Ruby1. Sorry for not replying earlier but was hospitalized after a car smash.

The emails are pornographic in nature and alledgedly show my wife in various porno poses. I know for a fact that she did not pose for these pix. I could always turn the evidence over to the police but uk police are so useless it would be,...... well,... useless.

I think that these emails are coming from my ex business partner who claims I owe him over 2m and he is trying to use these pix to put pressure on me. I really do NEED to find a way of finding the source of these emails. Is there any program out there that can tell me the town/city these emails come from?

so sorry to learn about your recent crash

I presme it had nowt to do with the e mail 'issue'' that you know of?
this
looking at email headers is an article about e mail headers, but me guess is that you really are not in a fit state to concentrate on it?

however, I have found this so have a gander at

http://www.abika.com/Reports/verifyemail.htm

Have you actually seen these 'pictures'? and are you also sure that no computer infections have also been bundled in with them ?
I know you are now recovering from a car crash but, if you have not already done so, it sounds as if your business is having problems , or at least your ex buiness partner is having problems ?

I would l strongly suggest you start a report on why this might be
so that you have this clearly in your mind

I suggest you step warilly with this as, if these emails are on the one computer and this issue does 'turn nasty' , then the Police ought to be involved and will need to see the computer in question to do a forensic examination of it

see if those links help at all?

and you may well wish to get in touch with the Police even if only on a preliminary basic to merely 'air your suspicious 'and seek their advise?

Hi Ruby 1. Thanks for the info. I am currently monitering things very closely and will continue to do so.

The car smash had nowt to do with all this email stuff, it was just a nutter who pulled straight out of a side road without looking. Feeling a bit battered and bruised but otherwise ok. The car's a right mess though

Thanks

Polekat
